as a young child, jinyoung always had an interest in the unknown. often meandering outside, looking for clues, as if he was sherlock holmes. quiet and reserved to himself, he was far from timid. if anything, he had a gaze that can penetrate through any façade. not only was he a bookworm, he also played for his school’s soccer team. vastly overestimating his physical capabilities, he pursued the udt, only to receive a grave injury to his leg. in university, he studied forensic science, and philosophy as his minor. since he lost out on the forensic science teaching job to another candidate, he settled for philosophy.

I enjoyed my tutoring sessions with him! He was well-prepared and punctual, and makes sure every won is worth it! While others might not be keen on his direct cadence in instruction, I appreciate the more hands-on approach on philosophy, seeing how it is applied across different disciplines. However, it may take time for him to warm up to you. But he is here to enlighten you, not to make friends!
